Effective Date: 10 August 2026
Company: Globe Trek Immigration Consultancy (GTIC)
Website: www.globetrekimmigration.com

At Globe Trek Immigration Consultancy (GTIC), we are committed to providing professional, transparent, and responsible consultancy services across our three core divisions: Study Abroad, Skilled Migration, and Investment & Immigration Services.

This Refund & Return Policy explains the circumstances under which payments may or may not be refunded. By engaging GTIC or making any payment for our services, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to payments made for services provided under:

1.1 Study Division

  • University and college admission
  • Study abroad counseling
  • Application processing
  • Application submission
  • Scholarship assistance
  • SOP and document support
  • Admission-related services
  • Visa application support
  • Pre-departure guidance
  • Other education consultancy services

1.2 Skilled Division

  • Visa application support
  • Other skilled migration-related services

1.3 Investment Division

Services related to:

  • Investment migration consultation
  • Business and investment pathway assessment
  • Investment program guidance
  • Investment-related documentation support
  • Application coordination
  • Professional consultancy
  • Residency or citizenship-by-investment-related consultancy, where legally applicable
  • Other investment migration services

2. Important Principle

GTIC provides consultancy, documentation, application-support, and coordination services. GTIC does not guarantee:

  • University admission
  • Scholarship approval
  • Visa approval
  • Immigration approval
  • Skills assessment approval
  • State or regional nomination
  • Investment approval
  • Residency or citizenship approval
  • Government processing time
  • Third-party decision outcomes

Final decisions are made by the relevant university, educational institution, government authority, immigration authority, assessing authority, embassy, consulate, financial institution, or other third party.

Therefore, refusal or rejection by a third party does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund of GTIC’s professional service fees.

3. Service Fees and Third-Party Fees

GTIC payments may include one or more of the following:

A. GTIC Professional Service Fees

Fees charged by GTIC for consultancy, processing, documentation, application assistance, case management, and related professional services.

B. Government or Authority Fees

Fees payable to governments, immigration authorities, embassies, consulates, assessing authorities, or other official bodies.

C. University or Institution Fees

Fees payable to universities, colleges, schools, training providers, or other educational institutions.

D. Third-Party Fees

Fees payable to external service providers, including but not limited to:

  • Translation services
  • Certification
  • Courier services
  • Medical examinations
  • Biometrics
  • Insurance
  • Professional assessments
  • Financial or banking services
  • Legal or professional services
  • Other external providers

Unless the relevant third party specifically provides a refund, third-party payments are generally non-refundable through GTIC.

Where a third party approves a refund, the refund will normally be subject to that third party’s own terms, conditions, deductions, administrative charges, and processing timelines.

4. General Refund Conditions

A refund may be considered where:

  1. GTIC has received a payment but has not yet commenced the relevant service; or
  2. GTIC is unable to provide the contracted service due to circumstances directly attributable to GTIC; or
  3. GTIC and the client mutually agree in writing to cancel the service under applicable terms; or
  4. A specific written agreement signed between GTIC and the client contains a different refund provision.

Any eligible refund will be calculated after deducting applicable amounts for services already provided, administrative costs, third-party payments, government fees, bank/payment gateway charges, and other non-refundable expenses.

5. Non-Refundable Circumstances

GTIC professional service fees may be non-refundable where:

  • The client changes their mind after services have commenced.
  • The client decides not to continue with the application.
  • The client fails to provide required documents or information.
  • The client provides incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • The client fails to meet eligibility requirements that were communicated to them.
  • The client does not follow GTIC’s reasonable instructions or deadlines.
  • The client fails to attend a required appointment, interview, biometric appointment, medical examination, or other scheduled activity.
  • The client fails to pay required third-party or government fees on time.
  • The client independently withdraws or abandons the application.
  • The client changes their preferred destination, university, occupation, investment program, or immigration pathway after processing has commenced.
  • The application is refused by a university, government authority, immigration authority, embassy, consulate, assessing authority, or other third party.
  • Immigration rules, university requirements, government policies, quotas, occupation lists, investment requirements, or other external conditions change.
  • Processing is delayed by a third party.
  • The client is unable to travel or commence studies for personal reasons.
  • The client becomes ineligible because of circumstances arising after engagement.
  • The client submits false, altered, misleading, or fraudulent documents.
  • The client engages another consultant or representative for the same application without notifying GTIC.
  • Services have already been substantially completed.

6. Study Division – Refund Policy

6.1 Before Application Processing Begins

If a client requests cancellation before GTIC has commenced substantive work on the agreed service, GTIC may consider a refund of the eligible unused portion of the professional service fee.

Any applicable administrative or transaction charges may be deducted.

6.2 After Application Processing Begins

Once GTIC has started any substantive work, including:

  • Profile assessment
  • University selection
  • Application preparation
  • SOP preparation or review
  • Document review
  • Application submission
  • Admission coordination
  • Visa documentation preparation

the corresponding professional service fee may become non-refundable, either fully or proportionately depending on the work completed.

6.3 University or College Rejection

If an educational institution rejects an application, GTIC’s professional service fees are not automatically refundable because admission decisions are made independently by the institution.

If a university or college refunds a fee directly to the client, that refund will be governed by the institution’s own refund policy.

6.4 Scholarship

Scholarships are subject to the decision of the relevant institution or scholarship provider.

Failure to receive a scholarship does not automatically qualify the client for a refund of GTIC’s consultancy or processing fee unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

6.5 Visa Refusal

A visa refusal by an embassy, consulate, or immigration authority does not automatically qualify the client for a refund of GTIC’s professional service fees.

Government fees, university fees, medical fees, biometrics fees, insurance fees, and other third-party charges are subject to the respective provider’s refund rules.

7. Skilled Division – Refund Policy

Skilled migration outcomes depend on factors outside GTIC’s control, including:

  • Government immigration policy
  • Occupation availability
  • Points requirements
  • Invitation rounds
  • State or regional nomination criteria
  • Skills assessment outcomes
  • English-language requirements
  • Age
  • Qualifications
  • Employment history
  • Documentation
  • Government quotas
  • Program availability

7.1 Eligibility Assessment

GTIC may conduct an initial assessment based on information supplied by the client.

An assessment does not constitute a guarantee of an invitation, nomination, visa approval, or permanent residence.

If the client provides inaccurate or incomplete information, GTIC will not be responsible for consequences arising from that information.

7.2 Skills Assessment

Skills assessment decisions are made by the relevant assessing authority.

GTIC’s professional fees for assistance with a skills assessment may not be refundable after the assessment process or related professional work has commenced.

Fees paid directly to an assessing authority are subject to that authority’s refund policy.

7.3 EOI / Invitation / Nomination

Submission of an Expression of Interest or application does not guarantee an invitation or nomination.

Changes in government policy, points thresholds, occupation lists, quotas, invitation rounds, or state requirements do not automatically create a refund entitlement.

7.4 Visa Refusal

If a skilled migration visa is refused, GTIC’s professional service fees are generally non-refundable where GTIC has completed the agreed services.

Government and third-party fees remain subject to the applicable provider’s terms.

8. Investment Division – Refund Policy

Investment and investment-migration services may involve significant third-party costs, government requirements, financial institutions, investment providers, legal professionals, and regulatory authorities.

GTIC does not guarantee:

  • Investment approval
  • Residency approval
  • Citizenship approval
  • Government approval
  • Business approval
  • Investment returns
  • Financial performance
  • Processing times

8.1 Investment Consultancy Fees

Investment consultancy fees become non-refundable once the agreed professional consultation, assessment, research, documentation, or application-support services have commenced, except where otherwise agreed in writing.

8.2 Government and Regulatory Fees

Fees paid to government departments, immigration authorities, regulatory bodies, embassies, consulates, or other official authorities are subject to the respective authority’s refund policy.

8.3 Investment Amounts

Any investment amount paid directly to an investment provider, business, fund, financial institution, developer, or other third party is not a GTIC service fee.

The refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or return of such funds is governed by the agreement between the client and the relevant investment provider or entity.

GTIC is not responsible for the financial performance, liquidity, profitability, or investment return of any third-party investment.

8.4 Investment Program Changes

If an investment program is changed, suspended, closed, or modified by the relevant government or authority, GTIC will make reasonable efforts to communicate available alternatives where applicable.

Such changes do not automatically entitle the client to a refund of professional fees for services already performed.

9. Client Cancellation

A client may request cancellation of GTIC services by submitting a written request through an official communication channel.

The cancellation request should include:

  • Client’s full name
  • Passport or application reference, where applicable
  • Contact information
  • Service/division
  • Date of payment
  • Payment reference
  • Reason for cancellation

Cancellation will be effective only after GTIC confirms receipt of the request.

The amount, if any, eligible for refund will be determined based on the services already performed and the applicable terms of this policy.

10. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, the client must contact GTIC through its official communication channel.

The client may be required to provide:

  1. Payment receipt or transaction information
  2. Client identification information
  3. Service agreement or application reference
  4. Written explanation of the refund request
  5. Supporting documents, where applicable

GTIC may review the client’s case, payment history, service records, and third-party expenses before making a refund decision.

11. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved:

  • The refund will normally be processed using the original payment method where reasonably possible.
  • Bank charges, payment gateway charges, transaction fees, and applicable deductions may be deducted.
  • Third-party amounts already paid may not be included in the refund.
  • Refund processing time may depend on the payment provider and banking system.
  • International transactions may be subject to exchange-rate differences and banking charges.

GTIC will communicate the applicable refund amount and expected processing timeline after the refund decision is made.

12. No Cash Refund Where Prohibited or Impractical

Where permitted by applicable law and where the original payment method cannot reasonably be used, GTIC may arrange an alternative refund method agreed with the client.

The client may be required to provide accurate bank or payment information.

GTIC will not be responsible for delays caused by incorrect account information supplied by the client.

13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are encouraged to contact GTIC directly before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

If a client initiates an unjustified chargeback after receiving services, GTIC reserves the right to provide relevant documentation to the payment provider or financial institution demonstrating:

  • Payment records
  • Service agreements
  • Communication records
  • Work completed
  • Applications submitted
  • Documents processed
  • Other relevant evidence

Any legitimate refund will be handled according to this policy and the applicable service agreement.

14. Document and Information Accuracy

Clients are responsible for providing truthful, complete, accurate, and up-to-date information.

GTIC may suspend or terminate services where it discovers:

  • False information
  • Forged documents
  • Altered documents
  • Misrepresentation
  • Concealed information
  • Fraudulent activity

In such circumstances, payments for services already provided may be non-refundable.

GTIC may also decline to submit or continue an application where doing so could create legal, ethical, regulatory, or immigration-related concerns.

15. Government Policy and Force Majeure

GTIC will not be responsible for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Changes in immigration law
  • Changes in visa requirements
  • Changes in university policies
  • Government program suspension
  • Changes in occupation lists
  • Changes in investment programs
  • Government processing delays
  • Embassy or consulate closures
  • Natural disasters
  • Pandemics or public health emergencies
  • War or civil unrest
  • Strikes
  • Political or regulatory changes
  • Banking disruptions
  • Technical failures affecting third-party systems

Such circumstances do not automatically create a refund entitlement for services already performed.

16. Service Modification

Where possible, if the client’s original pathway becomes unavailable due to a government, institutional, or regulatory change, GTIC may discuss an alternative pathway.

Any additional service, application, professional work, or third-party fee may be subject to additional charges.

17. Promotional Offers

Special offers, discounted packages, campaigns, complimentary services, and promotional fees may have separate terms and conditions.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, promotional or discounted services remain subject to this Refund & Return Policy.

Free consultations or complimentary services have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash refunds.

18. Service Completion

A service may be considered completed when GTIC has fulfilled the principal professional obligations agreed with the client, including where applicable:

  • Completing an assessment
  • Preparing required documents
  • Submitting an application
  • Providing agreed consultancy
  • Completing application support
  • Providing visa documentation assistance
  • Completing agreed migration or investment consultancy

Once the agreed service has been completed, the corresponding professional fee will generally be non-refundable.

19. No Guarantee of Outcome

GTIC does not guarantee a particular result unless a specific written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Clients acknowledge that immigration, education, skilled migration, and investment decisions are ultimately made by independent authorities or third parties.

Payment for consultancy services does not constitute payment for a guaranteed visa, admission, nomination, residency, citizenship, scholarship, or investment outcome.

20. Policy Changes

GTIC reserves the right to update or modify this Refund & Return Policy when necessary to reflect:

  • Changes in applicable laws
  • Regulatory requirements
  • Government policies
  • Business practices
  • Service structures
  • Payment procedures

The updated version will be published on the GTIC website with the applicable effective date.

21. Client Acknowledgement

By making a payment to GTIC or signing a service agreement, the client confirms that:

  • They have read and understood this Refund & Return Policy.
  • They understand that GTIC provides consultancy and application-support services.
  • They understand that third-party decisions cannot be guaranteed by GTIC.
  • They understand that government, university, immigration, assessment, and investment-related fees may be non-refundable.
  • They understand that professional fees may become non-refundable once services have commenced.
  • They have provided or will provide accurate information and genuine documentation.
  • They agree to comply with the applicable service agreement and this policy.
